A beautiful opening in Rarotonga on the 16th May at Bergman Gallery, Rarotonga. Many thanks and meitaki ma'ata to all those who came, to celebrate the 'ei katu with me. Teina Etches gave a wonderful speech on the significance of 'ei katu in the Cook Islands with personal stories and songs. Minar Henderson added to the installation by creating some floral hanging works in the gallery.
Prints are available exclusively in the Cook Islands through Bergman Gallery and will be included in my store in the near future. Creative New Zealand also very kindly helped me produce an exhibition catalogue so please contact me directly for more information.
